The SISD Education Foundation (SISDEF), a non-profit organization, was established in 2008, in an effort to raise funds for various school needs not covered by the traditional school budget, including, but not limited to student scholarships, teacher study-grants, project funding, special events and more. The foundation's goal is to encourage community involvement in education at every level. To build a positive relationship between students, teachers, administrators and the community-at-large to further the ideals and long-term goals of educating our children.

The foundation solicits financial support from a myriad of sources, such as local citizens and businesses, county, state and national entities. To read the entire Mission & Goals document and the Charter of the organization, click HERE.

A new, independent and fully functional web site is currently being developed for the SISDEF. Teachers will be able to fill-out and submit grant requests and donors will be able to make donations directly to the foundation's account.
