Welcome to the Somerset Independent School District Online Application web site.  Thank you for your interest in Somerset ISD. The online application is an interactive PDF document.  You must have Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher.  You can click this link to download Adobe Reader.

Please note the following:

  • It is important that the full application be completed. 

  • Do not change the XML file extention.

  • Applications with missing information will not be considered.

  • The application may not be saved.  It is recommended that you print out a hard copy before beginning the application process.  Upon completion, you will be able to print out a hard copy of your information.

  • Please pay close attention to the directions provided upon submission.  You must click the SUBMIT button found either on the first or last page.  You need only click one button. Please make sure your attachment is in XML format before submitting.

  • You must have an active email to submit. If your email is web-based (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.), your submission will be as an attachment.  If you have a desktop setup, then your email software program will automatically open up.

NOTE:  Should you not have access to a computer, please feel welcome to complete the application on-site at the Human Resources office. 

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE:

Effective January 1, 2008, Texas law requires that all prospective school employees submit to a fingerprint supported criminal history
background check and be cleared for employment.

If you are offered a position in the Somerset  school district, you will be required to pay a non-refundable fee to submit a fingerprint supported criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
